Melissa Ann Hamblin

Melissa Ann Hamblin, age 55, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born on April 22, 1967 to the late TJ Powers and the late Veda (Teague) Powers in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only son, Joshua Daniel King and her brother, Rev. Fred Powers.
She is survived by her brothers, Ronnie and Ricky Powers both of Williamsburg, Kentucky: sister, Teresa Powers of Williamsburg, Kentucky; six nieces and nephews, Crystal Rains (Donnie) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Stephanie Pettit (Daniel) of Corbin, Kentucky, Rob Powers (Tammy) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Ronnie Powers II of Florida, Jonathan Powers (Dee) of Florida, and Sarah Moyer (Robbie) of Chiefland, Florida; thirteen great-nieces and nephews, Dawson Powers, Morgan Rains, Amber Rains, Mason Powers, Sali Powers, Dylan Powers, Julie Powers, Emily Powers, Andrew Powers, Jonathan Eli Powers, Jr., Gabriella Moyer, Aliyah Powers, and Walker Pettit; special friend, Teresa Brooks; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 5, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Prewitt and Rev. Kenny Carr officiating.
She will be laid to rest in the Maple Creek Cemetery.
