w-fox-michael-alanMichael Alan Fox, 54, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Williamsburg.

Born in Corbin, Michael was the son of the late Mary Taylor Fox and Garry Fox who survives.

Michael was a former car salesman for Falls Ford and was Holiness by faith.

He was a member of the Corbin High School 1980 State Championship Football Team and was inducted into the Corbin High School Varsity Hall of Fame.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Edna and Juneus Fox and Jettie and Alex Taylor.

He is survived by his daughter Mary Elizabeth Wells; grandson Sky; father and step-mother  Garry and Genevieve Fox; brother Richard Thomas Fox (Linda); sister Sherry Grillo (Gerald); three step-sisters Kristi Carlisle (Wes), Erika McHargue (Chris), and Brittney Givens; and special friend Vicky Paul.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 25, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.

Burial will be in the Trosper Cemetery in Gray.

Pallbearers will be his cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Corbin High School 1980 State Champion Football players and coaches.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
