Mike Widener, age 55, of Maryville, TN formerly of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1967 in Williamsburg, KY to the late Daymon and Marjorie Durham Widener.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Rena Durham; and his aunt, Donna Helvey.
Mike enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping. He was a co-owner of Ron and Mike’s Fitness Center. He was the owner of Family Fitness, Baptist Family Fitness, and Contours Express. He was the Regional Vice President and financial coach for PFS Investments.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Widener of Maryville, TN; three children, Madison Widener (Orlando Vidal) of Maryville, TN, Brady Widener of Maryville, TN, and Tye Widener (Maggie Hernandez) of Maryville, TN; father, Jep Estes (Carolyn) of Georgia; two siblings, Mark Estes of Georgia, and Christy Widener of Louden, TN; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
A visitation service will be 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Powers-Manning Cemetery.
At the request of the family the graveside service will be private.
