Mother of suicide victim demands change at Whitley Co. BOE meeting

Family members of a Whitley County Middle School student, who killed themselves earlier this month, want to see the Whitley County School District to make some changes.

Amy Early and daughter Taylor McCullah addressed the Whitley County Board of Education Thursday night about changes they want to see made in light of the suicide of 14-year-old Aidan Early.

For their part, school officials say they are trying to assure students and parents that efforts are underway to provide additional support to young people, who may be facing a crisis.
