w-baker-nancy-annNancy Ann Baker, 61, passed away at her home in Corbin on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

Born in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Jeanette Shumate.

She was a homemaker and member of the Parkway Baptist Church in Barbourville.  She was a faithful giver to the American Veterans and loved reading her Bible.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Baker; sons Robert and Billy Baker; and daughter Roseann Baker.

She is survived by four children:  April Hibbard (Donnie) of Rockholds, Susie Lowe (Jimmy) of Woodbine, and Jessie Baker and Jenny Baker of Corbin; six grandchildren: Joshua Prewitt, Melissa Lowe Helton (Adam), Christy Lowe, Brittany Lowe, Angel Lowe, and Jim Lowe, Jr.; and by several sisters and brothers and other family members.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 13,  at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Vaughn officiating.

Burial will be in the Perkins Cemetery.
