Nearly 150 runners participated in W’Burg Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning

Participants and spectators had a beautiful Thanksgiving Day morning for the 15th Annual Williamsburg Turkey Trot 5-K.

A total of 148 people finished this year’s race. Kevin Black had the overall winning time at 18:18. Robel Schwartz was the top placing female runner with a time of 20:06.

Proceeds from the Turkery Trot go to benefit the Williamsburg Police Department Shop with a Cop program that takes less fortunate children on $100 shopping Christmas sprees each year at Walmart.

This year’s goal is to take 150 children shopping.
