Norman Roscoe Hess, age 84, of Croley Bend Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at The Williamsburg Health and Rehab in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Norman was born on September 6, 1937 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Rudolph Hess and Genevieve (Lovitt) Hess. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Jean Hess; three brothers, Henry Hess, Pete Hess, John Hess and sister Dorothy Bowling.
He is survived by his daughter Amy Hess of Williamsburg, KY; four grandchildren, Jason Croley of Williamsburg, KY, Josh Croley of Williamsburg, KY, Jackson Hess of Williamsburg, KY, and Jacob Alder of Williamsburg, KY. One special Niece Theresa Bowling Crossman of Williamsburg, KY. Several other nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Aug. 1, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Josh Bowman officiated. He was laid to rest following the service at the Highland Cemetery in Williamsburg, KY.
