The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that North Stewart Road at traffic signal No. 4 located at the Corbin Fitness Center will remain closed until Monday, June 24 at 8 a.m.
Access to North Stewart Road is available using traffic signal No. 3 located at Go Time. The need for the closure is to allow for widening of U.S. 25E at the intersection.
This is part of the U.S. 25E congestion reduction project.
Motorists are advised to use caution during this period and be aware of signage, road crews and other drivers. The work is dependent on weather conditions.
