Omega Goins Moses, 87, was born on January 9, 1938, in Williamsburg, KY. She passed peacefully on August 3, 2025 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation.
She lived a life brimming with care for her family and friends, and she was known for her open heart that readily accepted and loved others.
Omega’s love was a lighthouse guiding the hearts of many, and her memory will continue to radiate in the lives she touched.
Her love for her family and friends was evident in all she did. Her bright spirit, coupled with her nurturing nature, created a welcoming atmosphere wherever she went. Her priority was to love and care for her family and often putting their needs above her own.
Her legacy is etched into the hearts of those she leaves behind, including her beloved brother, Rev. JD Goins (Peggy) of Williamsburg, KY; her sister, Artis Goins (Cathy) of Muncie, Indiana and sister-in-law, Helen Goins; and a myriad of nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry her memory forward. She loved and appreciated her family and spending time with them.
Omega was welcomed home by those who had preceded her in death: her loving parents, Roscoe Goins and Daisy (Faulkner) Goins; and her dear siblings, Betty Eula Waters (Garny), Lena VanZant (Kenneth), Naomi Petrey (Frank), Emanuel Goins, and Clifton Goins (Lois).
Visitation for Omega will be held on Wednesday, August 6, at 11:00 am, at the Croley Funeral Home, located at 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky.
The funeral services will follow at the same location at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Steve Siler officiating.
Burial service will commence at 2:30 pm at the Faulkner Cemetery New Zion Church Road, New Zion Church Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky.
