Patricia Ann Sutton Connatser, 81, of Williamsburg went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 16. She was a strong, independent, fun-loving woman who was loved fiercely by her family. She was everyone’s favorite aunt who always had a bag of candy. Trish loved collecting and displaying Christmas villages much to the delight of many children over the years. She was a member of Shiner Church of Christ.
She was born Aug. 5, 1944 to the late Howard and Retha Sutton, the fourth of their five daughters. She graduated from Whitley County High School and worked at Oak Grove Elementary School, WEZJ, American Greeting and Red Carpet Inn.
She was married to the late Roy Connatser and they were devoted to each other, enjoying camping, motorcycle trips and all types of adventures together.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her four sisters, Betty Lyttle, Rena Jo Denny, Frankie Coffey and Edna Whitus; brother-in-law, Ralph Lyttle; and two great nephews, Gabe Dizney and Eli Hill.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, Wayne Whitus of Corbin; nieces and nephews, Teena (Kenny) Tye, Julia (Darryl) Suddath, Jill (Mike) Lewis, Tammy Dizney, Pam (Denny) Jones, Tim (Terrie) Coffey, Randy (Crystal) Lyttle, Chuck (Angie) Whitus, and John Michael Poynter; as well as many other family and friends who will miss her.
Funeral services was Friday, February 20, at Ellison Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Hopkins officiating.
Burial followed at Sutton-Pemberton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kenny Tye, Chuck Whitus, Tim Coffey, Randy Lyttle, Adam Hill and Eric Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Eli Hill Foundation, P.O. Box 400, Corbin, KY 40702.
