Polly Marie (Terry) Yancey

Polly Marie (Terry) Yancey, age 77, of Newcomb, Tennessee passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at her home. She was born February 21, 1945 in Roses Creek, Tennessee.
Polly was a member of the Brick Plant Church of God where she served faithfully with her husband for many years.
Polly was preceded in death by sons, Douglas Yancey, Sr., and Jerry Yancey, Jr.; father, Polly Amos Terry; mother, Mary (Osborne) Terry; brothers, Sam Terry, and Bobby Terry; sisters, Judy Terry, and Shirley Powell.
She is survived by husband, Rev. Jerry Willard Yancey, Sr.; son, Michael Yancey and wife Laura; daughters, Terry Yancey, Genia Yancey, Jessica Hatfield and husband Verlin, Myala Yancey, Shelby Lowe and husband Tristan; sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Lonnie Terry and wife Margaret, Jimmy Terry and wife Darlene, Danny Terry and wife Margaret; sisters, Carolyn Yancey and husband Larry, Kathy Bolton and husband Roger, Debra Holmes and husband John; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm until the funeral hour at 8 pm on Tuesday, November 22, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
Burial will be at 11 am on Wednesday, November 23, in the Valley View Cemetery in Pioneer, Tennessee.
