Ramp changes planned for I-75 Exit 15 in Whitley County beginning Monday (June 20)

Date:

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises that ramp changes are planned for I-75 exit 15 in Whitley County beginning Monday, June 20.

  • The I-75 exit 15 southbound entrance ramp in Whitley County will be opened to traffic beginning Monday, June 20.
  • The I-75 Exit 15 southbound exit ramp will be closed Monday, June 20 and is expected to reopen Sunday, July 10.

The closure is necessary to allow contractors to perform pavement operations for the Roundabouts project located at mile point 16.27, at the intersection
of I-75.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic
conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application. You can also get traffic information for District 11 counties at www.facebook.com/KYTCDistrict11 or by following us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/KYTCDistrict11.
