Randy Keith Hamblin, 42, of Clairfield, TN passed away Wednesday morning, October 24, 2018 at Jellico Community Hospital.

He was born on June 30, 1976 in Middlesboro, to Van Ed (Hector) Hamblin and Sylvia (Mozingo) Hamblin.

He was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Clairfield, TN. He was a graduate of Jellico High School – Class of 1994. He was a machinist by trade.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ben Hamblin and Dorothy (Hackler) Hamblin; maternal grandparents, Gene Mozingo and Hester Mozingo; paternal great-grandparents, Matt Hamblin and Myrtle (Carroll) Hamblin and Charles Hackler and Tressie (Neeley) Hackler; maternal great-grandparents, George Mozingo and Lou (Lumpkins) Mozingo and Joe Dan Hyden and Sarah Hammit; one infant sister, Jennifer Kay Hamblin; uncles, Bobby Charles Hamblin, Charles Huddleston, Lamar Sturgil, Wayne Garland, Charles Hackler, Clarence (Bud) Hackler, Clarence Mozingo, Jake Mozingo and Bill Mozingo; aunt, Tilda Hatfield; great-uncle, Gerald Hackler, and wife, Betty Hackler.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa (Hatfield) Hamblin, of Clairfield, TN; sister, Tracy (Hamblin) Richardson, and husband, Tommie, of Curtice, OH; brothers, Benjamin Hamblin, and wife, Georgia, and Matthew Hamblin, and wife, Crystal, all of Clairfield, TN; aunts, Barbara (Hamblin) Sturgil, of Deale, MD, Kaye (Hamblin) Steele, of Indianhead, MD, Gayle (Hamblin) Huddleston, of Eagan, TN, Jean (Hamblin) Garland, of Swanton, OH; uncles, Benny Matt Hamblin, of Williamsburg, KY, Larry Hamblin, of Ida, Michigan, Ray Mozingo, Henry Mozingo, Sue (Mozingo) Marlow, Alene (Weaver) Mozingo, Geraldine (Baird) Mozingo, and Darrell Mozingo; great-uncles, Van Hackler, and wife, Anna, of Toledo, OH; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clyde Hatfield and Dorthy (Cupp) Hatfield, of Clairfield, TN; special niece, Destiny, and several other nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Partin and Rev. Ewell Myers officiating.

There was a special singing by Lee Mahan. The burial immediately followed in the Hamblin Cemetery in the Hamblintown Community of Claiborne County, TN.

Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of all arrangements.
