Remaining musical acts announced for the 72nd Annual NIBROC Festival

Date:

Drivin N Cryin

Last week, it was announced that Pistol Whip, Rhythm City Groove and the Sidewinders would be featured in this year’s NIBROC Festival live music lineup. The remaining acts have since been announced, and among them is a ‘90s country music legend.

Tracy Byrd will be taking the stage on Thursday night, Aug. 8, in downtown Corbin to cap off night one’s festivities. Needing no introduction to longtime fans of country music, some of Byrd’s all-time greatest hits include: Holdin’ Heaven, Lifestyles of the Not So Rich and Famous, The First Step, The Keeper of the Stars, Big Love, Don’t Take Her She’s All I’ve Got, I’m From the Country, Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo, and perhaps most famously, Watermelon Crawl.”

Performing before Byrd on Thursday will be Drivin N Cryin, who were recently inducted into the Georgia and Wisconsin Music Halls of Fame. The Atlanta-based rockers are celebrating their 35th anniversary, and pride themselves on their continued dedication to touring and playing live shows for fans across the country.

Having shared the stage with such bands as Hootie and the Blowfish, The Black Crowes and Marshall Tucker Band, among many others, Drivin N Cryin remain “comfortable in their past and confident in their future.”

Finally, kicking things off in downtown Corbin on Saturday evening, Aug. 10, will be local favorites County Wide.

County Wide looks to continue their run of top-notch NIBROC Festival performances with their blend of southern rock and modern country sounds. Always a crowd pleaser, they look forward to once again having the opportunity to entertain their hometown crowd.  More information on County Wide can be found at www.countywideband.com.
