Rev. Clarence Ray Rose, Sr., 58, of Pioneer, TN passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Lafollette Medical Center.

He was born February 12, 1958 in Corbin.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Rose; mother, Geneva Lay; brothers, Jesse Graves, and Alfred Rose.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Taylor Rose; sons, Danny Taylor (Olivia), Clarence Ray Rose Jr. (Melinda), and Mark Anthony Rose; seven grandchildren, Natasha Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, Novella Taylor, Danny G. Taylor, Maria Douglas, Melissa Russell, and Donna Maria Rose; brothers, James Rose, Bascum Graves and John Early Lay; sister, Betty Osborne; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 30, in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Asher and Rev. David Jackson officiating.

Burial was held Thursday, December 1, in the Baird Cemetery (Little Elk Community).
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico is in charge of arrangements.
