Richard Neil Lawson

Richard Neil Lawson, age 72, of the Saxton Community of Whitley County, Kentucky, passed away Friday morning, May 31, 2024, at the Pineville Nursing Home, in Pineville, KY.
He was born on October 20, 1951, to the late Nathan Lawson and Wyula (Barrett) Lawson in Whitley County, KY.
He was a graduate of Whitley County High School – Class of 1979.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary Lawson, and husband Phillip, Barbara Kimberly, and Rachel Lawson, all of Corbin, KY; special long-time friend, Ruth Ann Rogers, of Saxton; numerous nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of friends, neighbors, and other relatives to mourn his passing.
Mr. Lawson’s wishes were to be cremated. There are no services planned.
