rick-martinRick Martin, 61, of Emlyn, passed away Monday September 12, 2016 at Baptist Health Corbin in Corbin.

He was born April 12, 1955 in Campbell County, TN, to the late Earl Martin and Virginia Hubbard Martin.

Along with his father he is preceded in death by a sister Mary Froehlich and brother-in-law Jerry Jones.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia “Jenny” Martin; two sisters, Vicki Jones of Williamsburg, Kate Adkins (Tony) of Williamsburg; brother Earl “Bo” Martin of Williamsburg; seven nieces and nephews, Stacey Mahan, Heather Jones, Travis Adkins, Josh Adkins, Adam Adkins, Brent Martin, Rachel Hash, Lindsey Dupree, Drew Froehlich; 12 great nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, Dave Froehlich of Louisville; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 15, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lowell Huddleston and Rev. Harold Long officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were Travis Adkins, Josh Adkins, Adam Adkins, Brent Martin, Donnie Sutton, Tony Adkins,  and Junior Bryant.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
