Robert Haskell Bolding, 93, formerly of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Columbia, South Carolina.
Born October 8, 1928 in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Claude R. and Flora E. Bolding, and was preceded in death by his brothers Gabe and LeRoy.
Haskell grew up in Knoxville, TN and served in the U.S. Army before studying at the Southern Baptist Seminary at Ft. Worth, Texas.
He had pastored churches in Missouri, Tennessee, Florida, and First Baptist Church in Corbin.
An excellent pilot, he owned and operated a charter aviation business, and was fixed base operator of the London-Corbin Airport.
He was the father of Jan Bolding of Corbin and Mark Bolding (Julia) of Chapin, South Carolina.
Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin will take place on Sunday, May 1st at 2:00 pm by Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
