Bonnie Darlene Mills, age 77, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Madison Health and Rehabilitation in Richmond, KY.
Born at Pineville Hospital in Bell County, she was the daughter of the late Bessie and Jimmie Mills.
She retired from American Greetings after working 27 years as a checker and candle maker.
Bonnie enjoyed her work and cherished the many friendships built over her 27-year tenure.
In addition to her work, she was an active member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clofus Crook; granddaughter, Jonnae Taylor; sister, Barbara Sears; nephew, Sammy Earl Mills; and niece, Bessie Jane Hopkins.
She is survived by her five children, Kathy Smith (Ray) of Corbin, KY, John Taylor (Vicky McClure) of Memphis, TN, Robert Taylor (Jane) of Knoxville, TN, Craig Taylor (Leslie) of Richmond, KY, and Nicole Brittain (Bobby) of Corbin, KY; brother, Sammy Mills (Linda); sister, Lois Taylor; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where a memorial service will follow at 2 pm on Wednesday with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery in Gray, KY.
