Rodney Lee Combs, age 64, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Baptist Health of Corbin.

Rodney was born March 4, 1957, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Walker Lee and Shirley Gray Combs.

Rodney worked at Central Automotive for 29 years. He grew up in Seventeenth Street Christian Church and was a member of Grace On the Hill United Methodist Church in Corbin, Kentucky. He enjoyed sporting events, time with family and friends, was a helper at Dinners Made Simple. He was a lover of music on albums and an avid Corbin Football fan.

He is survived by nephews, Josh Combs and Mark Combs; aunts, uncles, cousins and several friends to mourn his passing,

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Jennifer Lynn Combs; and one brother, Jeff Gray Combs.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 31, at 1:00 P.M. at Seventeenth Street Christian Church in Corbin, Kentucky with Rev. Tim Thompson, Bro. Doug Martin and Bro. Mike Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.

Visitation Services will be on Wednesday, March 31, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Seventeenth Street Christian Church in Corbin, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to United Cerebral Palsy or Grace On the Hill Food Pantry.

O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home will be following the guidelines the Governor’s Office has set for COVID-19, for attendance (of 60% building capacity), social distancing, and proper face coverings to be worn at these services.
