Ruby Velice Rice

Ruby Velice Rice, age 77, of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
She was born on September 4, 1944 in Everetts, Kentucky to the late Lloyd Helton and the late Flossie (Sowders) Helton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Rice and son, Kenneth Eugene Rose.
Ruby is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Ann Griffith (Lynn) of Somerset, Kentucky and Dellie Parks of Corbin, Kentucky; two sons, Alpha Rose (Renee Smith) of Barbourville, Kentucky and Ronnie Rose (Emma) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Anthony Rose, Donald Griffith, Kenneth Rose, Erik Neal, Leeandra Hill, Arnold Rose, Kendra Rose, and Verna Rose; great-grandchildren and special niece, Carol Mills of Gray, Kentucy; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She attended the Church of God.
Services will be private for family.
