Sams re-appointed to state board

A high-ranking Corbin official was recently re-appointed to a state board.

Gov. Andy Beshear announced Friday that he had re-appointed Corbin City Manager Marlon Sams as a member of the State Advisory Committee for the Land and Water Conservation Fund.

Sams’ term will expired on Aug. 17, 2024.

Beshear also reappointed Joy Brown, Jeffrey Dembo, Clay Cottongim, William Brammel Jr., Frank Beaty, Patrick Manning, John Denton, Don Gibson, Molly Caldwell, Nicholas Hazel, Matt Sawyers, Max Bishop and Charles Haddaway IV to the committee.
