Sandra Gail Daugherty Chitwood, 58, passed away at home in Caryville, TN on December 20, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Essie Mae Lawson Daugherty, and father, Fred Daugherty.
She is survived by sons, Aaron Fredrick Daugherty and Curtis Dewayne Chitwood both of Caryville, TN, sister, Phyllis Kirkland of Augusta, GA, several nephews and cousins.
She will be sadly missed by family and friends who take comfort in the knowing she is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Sandra was a loving mother whose pride and joy was her two sons. Sandra worked as a cook at Billy’s Restaurant in Jellico, TN for several years. She also worked as an EMT for Jellico Ambulance Service for several years.
The funeral service for Sandra was held Sunday December 23, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, TN with Dr. Bob Dunston officiating.
Interment followed in the Douglas Cemetery at Wooldridge, TN.
The Llewellyn Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
