Sandra Lynn Murphy, 57 of Knoxville, Tennessee departed this life on December 25, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born to Arvis Stephens and the late Bernice Martin Stephens on June 23, 1965 at Ft. Benning, GA.
Along with her mother she is preceded in death by brother, Robert Scott Stephens.
Sandra is survived by husband, Shannon D. Murphy; and daughter, Shasta Nicole Chapman and husband Lee of Maryville, Tennessee; stepson, Justin Murphy of Pine Knott, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Alison Chapman, Kayey Chapman, Camryn Chapman, Parker Murphy, and Alex King; father, Arvis Stephens of Williamsburg, Kentucky; mother, Carol Stocker of Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Krista Pence of Dawsonville, GA; and brother, Derick Human of Knoxville, Tennessee; several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be at 6:00 PM Friday, December 30, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Saturday December 31, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Max Cox officiating.
Burial will be at the Jellico Creek Church Cemetery following the service.
