Sandy “Gram” Wyatt, 61, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Hazard, she was the daughter of the late James Elmer Fugate and Wanda Faye Duncil Fugate.

She was a registered nurse and was a caregiver to many, and loved being with her family. She formerly worked for Cumberland Valley Surgical Center in Corbin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert “Bob” Fugate.
Sandy is survived by her husband Johnny Wyatt; children: Angie Harris and husband Matt, Lora Sparks, Kristi Wyatt, Anthony Wyatt, and Amanda Conyers; brothers and sisters: Dianne Grisgby (Tony), Jeff Fugate, Chris Fugate (Jairzinha), and Rose Wilson; sister-in-law Deb Fugate; and by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other family and friends who mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 26, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial followed in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Dakota Whitis, Matt Harris, Jr., Brien Harris, Braxton Hubbs, Joshua Fugate, and James Fugate. Honorary pallbearers were Jeffrey Wilson, Dillan Harris, Matthew Fugate, Austin Kelly, and Autumn Whitis.
