Second round of May Day results show new May Queen leader

With less than one week to go in the contest, the second round of results are in for the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) Kentucky Ossoli Club of Corbin May Day Queen and Tiny Queen contests.

As of late Friday afternoon, Addison Bingham is in first place in the May Queen race followed by Erin Edwards, who is in second place, and Ava Maguet, who is in third place.

In the race for Tiny Queen, Brooklyn Sizemore is in first place followed by Hampton Farmer in second place and Lola Foley in third place.

The May Day Queen and Tiny Queen races will end at noon on Friday, April 28.

All donations are tax deductible and can be made by mail, online, or by dropping your cash/check in the candidate’s voting box at her host business.

To donate online, go to the Ossoli Club’s website, ossoliclubofcorbin.com, and select your candidate. If by mail, write your check to the Ossoli Foundation, indicate your candidate on the memo line, and mail to the Ossoli Foundation, P.O. Box 2544, Corbin, KY 40702.

This year’s festival will be held at The Corbin Arena on Friday, May 5, starting at 7 p.m.
