Sharon K. Jackson-Nance, 55, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at her home in Corbin.

She was born on April 16, 1962, in Knox County to Walter and Mossie Jackson.

Sharon grew up in Corbin and graduated from Lynn Camp High School.

She worked as a secretary for Jim Walter Homes and later as an Entertainment Coordinator for Renfro Valley.

Sharon was a member of West Corbin Baptist Church and later frequented Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin.

She enjoyed her family and friends and spent most of her time being with those she loved.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mossie Jackson; six siblings: Edith Jackson, Kathy Jackson, Earnest Jackson, Kenneth Jackson, Jessie Jackson, and Clellan Jackson.

Sharon is survived by her son, Kenney Nance of Corbin; her siblings: Christine Wagner, Earl Jackson, Arnold Jackson, Pauline Smith, Carolyn Miracle, Wanda White, Larry Jackson, and Jimmy Jackson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends, who mourn her passing.

A memorial service officiated by Bro. Dennis McCoy was held Thursday, September 14, at Hopewell Baptist Church, in Corbin.
