Shirley Ann Gardner Perkins

Shirley Ann Gardner Perkins, 64, of Buck Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky, departed this life on April 15, 2022 at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky
She was born to the late George Gardner and Laura (Hurst) Gardner Yount on August 14, 1957 in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by stepfather, Joe Yount Sr; husband, Donald Perkins; brother, Tracey (Bobby) Gardner, Billy Gardner, Kevin Yount, and step-brother, Joe Yount Jr.
She is survived by three sisters, Barbara Canada of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Wanda Mayne (Mike) of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Cathy Gardner of Corbin, Kentucky; one brother, Brian Yount (Louise) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; sister-in-laws, Donna Gardner of Michigan and Jamie Yount of Williamsburg, Kentucky; special niece, Hope Richardson of Williamsburg, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She enjoyed attending Mountain Ash Baptist Church and being a member for over 53 years. She loved her church family and friends.
Funeral service was Monday, April 18, at the Mountain Ash Baptist Church.
She will be laid to rest in the Perkins Cemetery following the service
