Six-year-old’s 911 call leads to parents’ arrest

Date:

A brave six-year-old girl called 911 late Friday night reporting that she couldn’t wake her mother up and told dispatchers that she thought her mother was deceased. As it turned out, mom didn’t need a hearse, but mom and dad did end up getting a ride in a police car to jail.

Danielle Asher and Robert Herren were both charged with two counts of second-degree child abuse (child age 12 years of age or under), two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin and drug unspecified), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
