Stacey BryantStacey Lee Bryant,  44, of Freeman Hollow Road, Rockholds,  passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the home of his parents.

He was born on October 31, 1971 in Corbin, Kentucky to Donald Lee Bryant and Karen Jane (Baird) Bryant. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Katherine Baird and Lawrence and Polly Bryant.

Stacey was a veteran of the United States Navy having served on the USS Harlan County during the Gulf War. He served as Game Warden in Clay, Knox, and Laurel counties for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement Division. He was a member of the Mill Street Church of Christ in London, Kentucky and a member of Theta Chi fraternity.

He is survived by his wife, Kara Bryant of London; two children, Madison Lee Bryant and Morgan Lee Bryant of London; his parents, Donald and Karen Bryant of Rockholds; sister, Stephanie Mullins (Ronnie) of Rockholds; brother, Jeremy Wayne Bryant (Melinda Gail) of Corbin; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Thursday, September 1, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Marc Hopkins and Rev. Ronnie Mullins officiating.

He was laid to rest in the Bruner Family Cemetery in London.

Officers of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife will serve as Honor Guard and pallbearers.
