Stan Olsen

Stan Olsen, age 75, of LaGrange, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was the son of the late Orbin and Lucille (Johnson) Olsen. He retired in 2000 from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. Stan was very passionate about Henry County Athletics and served as life-long head grounds keeper for Henry County Athletics.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Olsen of LaGrange, KY; sons, Mike Olsen (Dana) of Buckner, and Steve Olsen (Karen) of LaGrange, KY; sisters, Pat Mays of Lexington, KY, Jan Rose White (Dennis) Corbin, and Wanda Partin (Estle) of Corbin; four grandchildren, Brandon Olsen (Lauren), Micaela Cornell (Morgan), Shelby Olsen and Hayle Olsen; and great-grandson, Levi Olsen.
Visitation will be Monday, December 6 at 4:00 pm until the 7:00 pm funeral hour at the Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, with Ed Rockwell officiating. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, December 7, at 2:00 pm at the Lynn Camp Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
Due to allergies the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to the Henry County Baseball Program, c/o Henry County High School.
