Strunk – Woods to wed
Leonard and Deborah Strunk of Williamsburg, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Emily Ann Strunk to Justin Robert Woods, son of Johnny and Donna Woods of Corbin.
Emily Ann is the granddaughter of George and Emilee Payne and Nelson Strunk and the late Betty Strunk, all of Williamsburg.
Justin is the grandson of Buddy and Rhoda Woods and Richard and Lois Giles, all of Corbin.
Justin is a 2012 and 2016 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Master of Arts in Teaching. He is employed as a 6th grade science teacher and basketball coach with the Knox County School System.
Emily Ann is a 2014 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a 2015 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, earning her Master of Science degree in General Psychology. She will graduate from Eastern Kentucky University with a Specialist degree in School Psychology in 2017. Emily Ann is employed as a school psychologist intern with the Laurel County School System.
Emily and Justin will be married by the bride’s father on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Corbin.
The couple will make their new home in Corbin.
