Sylvia Mamie Canada

Sylvia Mamie Canada, age 86, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, Tennessee.
Sylvia was born on December 18, 1935 to the late Lloyd Strunk and the late Nora Lee (Moore) Strunk.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angela Canada; sister, Evellean Canada; and brother, Nelson Strunk.
Sylvia is survived by her four loving children, Nancy Sue Meadors (Eugene) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Billy Roger Canada of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Rosalee Hinkle (Gary) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Buffy Shelton- Angel (James) of Lexington, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Amanda Long (Kerby), Cindy Moses (Andy), Katie Canada, Erika Vaughn (Greg), LeAnna Hinkle (Chad), Matthew Hinkle (Veronica), Whitney Shelton (Tim), Breigh Shelton, and Kennedy Shelton (Jarred); thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma Sarge of Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Herschel Walker officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Canadatown Cemetery.
