Tammie Marie Baird, 51 of Machesney Park, IL passed away peacefully at her home the morning of August 16, 2017, after a valiant fight against cancer, with Jason, her Dad, and her animals at her side.
She was born on October 26, 1965 in Sharonville, OH to Joe E. Baird and the late Nancy Ruth (Roberston) Baird.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Wayne Baird, and Robert Glenn Baird.
She is survived by her boyfriend of 15 years, Jason Sotos and their dog Dozer and many cats, her sons Patton Jr. (and grandson, Eli) and Waylon of Kentucky, her father, Joe E. Baird and two brothers, Tom Baird and Jerry Baird of Williamsburg, and brother, Joe (Deb) Baird of Dekalb, IL, her Aunt Cathy and Uncle Jerry Robertson of Cortland, IL, nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Tammie loved nature whether she soaked up the sun by her pool, tended to her beautiful flowers, watched the birds especially hummingbirds flit and fly across her yard, hiked, or fished.
