Customers at The Wrigley Taproom and Eatery in Corbin will help support the Whitley County Farmers’ Market Tuesday.
Fifteeen percent of the gross sales at the restaurant between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. will be donated to the Friends of Market.
“The farmers market is one of the most important ways we are able to provide fresh quality produce & meats on our menu,” officials at the restaurant posted on the Facebook page in announcing the event.
Officials at the farmers’ market said the proceeds go to cover financial expenses that the farmers along cannot cover.
In 2018, proceeds from the event paid for a part-time market manager to be present at the Goldbug market.
The Wrigley Taproom is located at 207 South Main Street in Corbin.
