Third ‘Little Library’ opens in Corbin

Makenna Myatt, of Corbin, cut the ribbon on the a new “Little Library” behind Sanders Park in Corbin.

This marks the third Little Library that Myatt has worked to have installed in Corbin. The first is located on Fifth Street between Main Street and Kentucky Street. The second is in the entrance to the Corbin Police Department.

The recent project is part of Myatt’s Bronze project for the Girl Scouts. Helping Myatt with the ribbon cutting was her mother, Melinda Norvell, and Corbin Mayor Suzie Razmus.

Residents are encouraged to borrow books from any of the Little Libraries or donate books for others to read.
