Thomas Underwood

Thomas Underwood, age 85, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026. He was born April 14, 1941 in Faber, KY, to the late William “Bill” and Elva Smith Underwood. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Early, and son-in-law, Jerry Ridner.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Petrey Underwood, of Williamsburg, KY; three children, Tammie Ridner of Williamsburg, KY, Kimberly Jones (Doug) of Corbin, KY, and Katrina Underwood of Williamsburg, KY; four grandchildren, Thomas Ridner (Carolyn), Amanda Bingham (Jared), Tyler Jones, and Kamron Jones; six great-grandchildren, Haden Bingham, Gabriel Bingham, Aubree Jones, Waylon Bryant, Grayson Bingham, and Roman Bingham; one sister, Irene Collins (Gene) of Williamsburg, KY; in addition to several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 27, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Miles officiating. Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM Monday, October 26, at the funeral home.
