Three indicted for endangering police officers

A Whitley County Grand Jury handed down indictments in three separate cases Monday morning charging local residents with endangering police officers various ways over an eight-month period.

The grand jury indicted Martin S. Burnett, 34, of Woodbine, and charged him with first-degree fleeing or evading police-motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, first-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
