Tommy Joe Smith, 67, of Ancil Leach Hollow, Williamsburg departed this life on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.
He was born on November 16, 1950 in Williamsburg to the late Claude Patton Smith and Anna Mae (Siler) Smith.
He is survived by his girlfriend of 36 years, Lajolla Mae Satterfield-Anderson of Williamsburg; children, Tonya Smith-Carnahan, Tommie Smith-Metzer, Rose Anna Smith-Dople, Elizabeth Leach, Shannon Lemarr Smith and Ralph Teague; two sisters, Darlene Catron and her husband Chuck and Linda Marie Smith-Adkins all of Williamsburg; brother, Danny Wayne Smith of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service was held Monday, July 23, at the Clearfork Baptist Church.
