Truck crashes into south Corbin towing and repair shop

Date:

A south Corbin business suffered significant damage last Friday night after a pick-up truck crashed into it, and police say the incident happened due to a simple mistake.

The Dodge Ram pickup truck ran into the S&H Towing and Repair building at about 6:18 p.m. Friday. According to Corbin Police Public Affairs Officer Rob Jones, the driver of the vehicle simply left it in gear on accident in the parking lot of CB’s Roadhouse Grill.

“It just rolled down the hill and into the building,” Jones said. “It went through the building and hit another car that was on a lift. No one was hurt.”

No criminal charges were filed as a result of the accident.

An employee at S&H Towing said Monday he knew nothing about the incident and had no idea how much damage it caused.
