Corbin hosted Williamsburg in a 50th District double header Tuesday.

In game one, the host Redhounds were able to fend off a determined Yellow Jackets team, winning 59-50 to improve to 15-5, 3-2 on the year. They will play in another district matchup this Friday, February 1, at Whitley County High School. Tipoff time is set for approximately 7:30 p.m. The Yellow Jackets (12-11, 0-5) are scheduled to go on the road to Rockcastle County Thursday.

In game two at Corbin Tuesday, the Lady Hounds also had their hands full with the Lady Jackets, but in the end they were able to come away with the 54-46 victory, improving to 10-11, 2-3 on the year. They will also play at Whitley County this Friday, with a scheduled start time of 6:00 p.m. inside Lawson Gymnasium. Williamsburg (11-11, 1-4) will host Lynn Camp at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Finally, in 51st District action Tuesday, the Lynn Camp Lady Cats fell to visiting Pineville 55-49, dropping them to 13-7 overall ahead of their game later this week at Williamsburg.
