In boys’ action, Corbin defeated Garrard County in the Redhounds’ home opener, 75-67.

Whitley County won at Red Bird, 63-30.

In girls’ action, Williamsburg fell to Pineville at home, 71-55.

Whitley County lost at Harlan County, 64-53.
