On Thursday, Aug 3,2017 the JC Paul Detachment 1448 Marine Corps League, a Partner in the Department of Defenses 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War Commemoration Program, presented members of Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 1050, of London, Ky, with Commemorative Lapel Pins and a copy of the Presidential Proclamation, for their service during the Vietnam War. Those who were awarded are shown from left to right: Ernest Dale Allen, David Baker, Alex Hale, Larry H. Taylor, Ronnie Sparks, T.K. Parks, Clelion Miracle, Connie Taylor, Andrew DeHart, Thomas J. Gregory, Plinius Tuta. JC Paul Detachment Commandant Greg Sims and Adjutant/ Paymaster Cathy Sims (not shown) made the presentations.
