Virginia Lee (Riley) Cox, 92, of Becks Creek, Williamsburg, reached her heavenly home Wednesday January 31, 2018 at Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, Tn.

She was born August 12, 1925 in Williamsburg to the late Walter and Beulah Riley. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold F. Cox, her son, Jimmy Cox, sisters Earlene Cox, Elizabeth Partin, brother, Dempsey Riley, and Grandmother Lizzy Cox.

Virginia is survived by her son, Larry (Barbara) Cox of Williamsburg, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters; Nina Davidson of Campbellsville, and Nancy Back of Amelia, OH, two aunts; Opal Lay and Anna Cox of Williamsburg; sister-in-law Arvilla Cox of Ohio; her Liberty Pentecostal Church Family, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held Saturday, February 3, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Caddell and Rev. Jacob Crusenberry officiating.

After the service, Virginia was laid to rest beside her husband in the Richardson Cemetery on Becks Creek.
