Local residents are invited to come out Saturday morning and get in a little exercise with Corbin Mayor Willard McBurney and Colonel Harlan Sanders.
Registration for the one-mile Walk with the Mayor will start at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, and the actual walk begins at 10 a.m.
This free event is sponsored by the Whitley County Health Department and Corbin Tourism. This is Step It Up
Kentucky Event is designed to encourage our communities to be healthy and more active.
Wayne Hensley, a Colonel Sanders Impersonator, and McBurney will lead the walk with either light rain or sunshine.
If there is heavy storming, the event will be canceled.
