wanda-manesWanda Faye Manes, 68, of Highway 92 East, Siler, departed this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center.

She was born on March 6, 1948 in Whitley County,  to the late Eli Rhodes and Eva (Peace) Rhodes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Manes and a brother, Marshall Rhodes.

She is survived by two daughters, Teddie Lynn Silcox (Scotty Lambdin) and Jill Ann Rhoades (John) of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Breanna Chute (Jordan), Tyler Silcox, Jacob Rhoades and Whitney Silcox; great grandson, Hunter Chute; two sisters, Phyllis Spivey of Cincinnati, Ohio and Shirley Manes (Tommy) of Williamsburg; four brothers, Glennis Rhodes (Barbara) of Barbourville and Ken Rhodes (Mary), Bill Rhodes (Peggy) and David Rhodes (Charlene) all of Siler; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour on Friday, September 30, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Friday, September 30, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Rhodes and Rev. Bill Meadors officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Rhodes Cemetery in Siler.
