Wayne Wilson

Wayne Wilson, age 68 of Corbin, KY, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Baptist Health Corbin.
He was born March 3, 1953 in Whitley County, KY to the late Meritt and Lois Sumner Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Michael Cox, Sr; two sisters, Sharon Wilson, and Wanda Vanderpool; and brother, Frankie Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Morgan Wilson; one son, Jeff Woods of Corbin, KY; four grandchildren, Timothy Cox, Jr., Hunter Wilson, Dalton Wilson, and Dakota Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Peyton Cox, Emma Cox, and Kingsley Wilson; three sisters, Janice Mills of MI, Kathy Peek of London, KY, and Candy Wilson of Lexington, KY; three brothers, John Wilson (Connie) of Corbin, KY, Roger Wilson (Venessa) of Corbin, KY, and Phil Wilson (Ruby) of MO; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 24, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Rountree and Rev. Travis Baker officiating.
Interment will be in Moore Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, at Ellison Funeral Home.
