Williamsburg adding more bicycle racks

Those wanting to ride bicycles as a mode of transportation in Williamsburg will soon have some additional places where they park and secure their bicycles thanks to an effort being spearheaded by the Williamsburg Bicycle Coalition.
“We are trying to get bike racks out in the community so that when someone does ride their bike there will be a rack at businesses where they can actually park their bike and lock it up,” said Kathy Lay, a spokesperson with the Whitley County Health Community Coalition. “Right now there are no places for anyone, who is riding a bike, if they wanted to go to Wal-Mart or go into town there is no place to put their bikes and lock them up.”
