W’burg getting five new police officers, who will patrol University of the Cumberlands

The addition of five new Williamsburg police officers, who will serve as school resource officers at the University of the Cumberlands, the replacement of most vehicles in the police department, and the possibility of purchasing a ladder truck for the fire department were all among topics of discussion at Monday’s monthly Williamsburg City Council meeting.
