W’burg waterpark bids $3 million over max budget; cuts will be needed

Williamsburg officials are trying to determine the best ways to scale back on a proposed expansion of the Kentucky Splash Waterpark and Campground after bids for the project came in millions of dollars higher than expected.

Officials say cuts will be necessary after waterpark expansion bids come in significantly over budget.
